"Once again, thanks very much for the time you personally gave up to take me out in your modified S3 last week. The way Milltek dealt with me from my first contact until I left your premises was a lesson to all companies. Excellent.
Experiencing the product in use (properly!) was enough to convince me it was the right one for me. I also took your advice and had a recirculating valve (DV) fitted.
The difference to the car is amazing. There is an added urgency between 5500rpm and 7000rpm where the car is very noticeably quicker and more free revving.
In all honesty, I was dubious about claims of additional horsepower and was looking for a free flowing exhaust system without the horrendous noise lads seem to look for these days. However, the truth is that the car is much quicker and feels much more powerful at high revs as well as the power delivery feeling smoother.
The actually noise level is pretty much as standard for an S3 until one reaches 3000rpm where that irritating resonance in the OE exhaust is missing (worth fitting the Milltek just for that). The sound becomes more urgent and deep from then onwards and once the exhaust is hot on a fast run, the sound is awesome, but never intrusive.

"Yes everything has gone very well with the exhaust, went to the world series by renault at donington at the weekend and got some very positive comments on how well it looked and sounded, people were telling me that it should have left renault looking like that rather than the 2 pea shooter type exit pipes that are fitted as standard, and it now has a nice rumble at tickover, also seems to have improved the throttle response as there used to be a small amount of turbo lag, which has totally disappeared." |

"My new exhaust and rear valance was delivered yesterday and I have just had it installed. It looks great, sounds sportier (but not louder) without the dull drone I had in mid range, but I am really impressed with the noticeable extra power delivery right through the rev range. Also, the fitter and I agree that the Milltek system is actually about 1 kg lighter than the OEM.

The car is much more responsive and you can feel the power of the increased torque. The sound is deep and throaty...but not obnoxious in public. It makes the A4 sound like a 6 cylinder!
